intent Restart the daybook, and build the machine that keeps it running:

  • Ship a Notes section under Frontier — the home for daily topic study.
  • Open the first note: context engineering, worked across research · engineering · product · strategy.
  • Re-shape the daybook so a day opens with intent, not retrospect.
  • Clean up Frontier — live work at the top, archive at the bottom.

Twenty-nine days. The last entry here was July 23. No point dressing it up — the daybook stopped. Work took the foreground and the log was the first thing to go. That is exactly the failure mode a daybook exists to catch, so I am restarting it differently rather than just restarting it.

What changes. Until now this was a record of what I did. From today it opens with what I intend to do. The intent goes down first; the proof comes after. When the two do not match, that gap is information, and I would rather look at it than quietly edit it out.

The practice. One to two focused hours a day. Read a paper. Learn one concept properly. Do hands-on research engineering. Go back and revisit a fundamental. Not scattered across whatever is interesting that morning — the same four moves, daily, until it is a ritual instead of a decision I have to make again every day.

Where the output goes. A new section, Notes, under Frontier. One frontier topic at a time, worked across four lenses: research, engineering, product, strategy. Running notes plus a Socratic dialogue, because the questions are usually where the signal is. First topic is context engineering. Queued behind it: continual learning, post-training, alignment, safety, interpretability. Experiments stay in their own repos; snapshots come back here.

Why here. pracha.me stops being a portfolio and becomes the workshop — building in the open, journaling, experiments, flagship projects, the research, the resume. One place where the thinking and the evidence sit next to each other.

proved Daybook restarted after a 29-day gap, now intent-first. Notes section live under Frontier with the context-engineering study opened. Frontier reordered — live work first, archive last.
